Konker is currently recruiting for a Building Control Surveyor to join an independent consultancy based in the North West.
 
Please note, that this is a fully remote position with travelling likely to happen one day a week.
 
This consultancy of 16 is seeking a Building Control Surveyor to lead on all Building Control, and Building Regulation compliance as well as being their lead for the latest Building Safety act.
 
They work on various projects including education, healthcare, residential, industrial and manufacturing.
 
This is a unique chance to join a growing consultancy and put your stamp on the role but shortly, recruit and grow a team of Building Control Surveyors across the UK.
 
The Role:- Building Control Surveyor
  • Being the lead on the Building Safety Act | Building Regulations and being a key part of the CDM team
  • Guide clients, developers, and design teams on building safety, and building regs about the Building Safety Act 2022.
  • Deliver key Building Regulation Principal Designer functions for selected projects
  • Undertake technical reviews with Principal Designers
  • Assist with the consultancy quality and compliance coordinator for accreditations
  • Growing your team
The salary on offer is between £45K-£75K depending on previous experience along with a Car Allowance, fully remote work and 25 Days holiday + bank/public hols.
 
To Be Considered:- Building Control Surveyor
  • Currently working as a Building Control Surveyor in the UK
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the Building Safety Act, Building Control & PD Functions
  • Ability to lead design reviews and communicate with all stakeholders
  • Sound knowledge of CDM Regulations
  • Driver license and car owner
  • Ability to act as the lead for the Building Safety Act
