KFS Recruitment is proud to be working closely with a growing bridging lender in Borehamwood.

Due to expansion, our client is looking for an experienced Bridging Underwriter to join their office-based, dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and evaluate applications in the specialist finance space, with a focus on Bridging and Development,

  • Background with a specialist lender, demonstrating an understanding of the intricacies of this sector.
  • Additional experience in underwriting term/BTL (Buy-to-Let) products, would be a benefit.
  • Collaborate effectively within our fantastic team, contributing to a positive and dynamic working environment.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of underwriting experience in the specialist finance.
  • Experience in bridging, development or BTL Mortgages is acceptable, as long as the underwriting managed has been on a more manual basis (not just 'computer says yes/no')
  • A high calibre professional with a proven ability to make sound underwriting decisions.
  • Excellent team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
