Position Overview:
As an experienced Branch Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing operations and driving performance within our client's builders merchants. This role requires a dynamic individual with proven leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:
- Lead, motivate, and mentor a large team of staff, fostering a positive working environment.
- Manage department heads to ensure effective coordination and alignment of activities.
- Oversee day-to-day operations, including P&L, sales, and customer service.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimise performance and achieve sales targets.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.

Requirements:
- Previous experience in a being a Branch Manager within the builders merchants industry.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Proven track record of driving sales and achieving targets.
- Sound understanding of stock profiling, inventory management and operational procedures.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations within a warehouse environment.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and priorities.
