Bookkeeping Manager - About The Role

Working closely with a unique portfolio of clients, you will build strong relationships, helping them to achieve their corporate objectives and growth targets. Responsibilities will include:

  • Responsible for all bookkeeping requirements for a diverse portfolio
  • Prepare monthly and annual reports to identify results, trends and forecasts
  • Liaise with clients and answer their queries
  • Supervise and manage junior staff
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure clients expectations are exceeded

The successful Bookkeeping Manager will have/be:

  • AAT qualified is desirable but not essential, QBE will be considered
  • Practice experience or experience working with a variety of clients
  • Sound understanding of VAT rules and extensive experience preparing VAT returns
  • Strong problem-solving skills and not afraid of challenging the status-quo
