Bookkeeper
Zachary Daniels are currently recruiting for an experienced Bookkeeper to join a leading manufacturing company. The successful candidate will be working in a stand-alone position and will be responsible for the efficient and effective finance function, ensuring effective procedures are in place and followed.
Accounts duties will include:
- Bookkeeping
- To prepare sales and purchase ledger
- Post all purchase invoices ensuring that all check procedure are followed
- Propose payments to suppliers and once authorised make payments
- Assist in the management of debt on the Trade Counter
- Liaising with suppliers, dealing with enquiries
- Calculation and payment of VAT
- Control of petty cash
- Complete all bank reconciliations
- Produce and submit month end accounts
- Control the balance sheet and ensure accurate recording of all assets and liabilities
- Support with budgeting and forecasting
Skills/ Qualifications
AAT qualified or qualified by experience
The ability to work independently
Organised and proactive
Excellent attention to detail
Sageline 200 experience is preferred by not essential
