This role is for an experienced Bookkeeper to support the efficient running of their finance department.

You will be responsible for delivering a comprehensive, efficient, and compliant accounts management system. For the right candidate, there will be scope for progression to the role of Finance Manager.

  • General accounting administrative duties; including processing payments and invoices, maintenance of all accounting records and reconciliation of accounts
  • Ensuring internal accounting processes are compliant with relevant regulations
  • Managing budgets of each ‘job sheet’ and undertaking weekly cash flow and monthly P&L forecasting on existing spreadsheets
  • Preparing audit files
  • Preparing employee payroll and expenses
  • Bank posting and reconciliation
  • Monthly management accounts preparation
  • Manage petty cash

The person will have:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience working in accounting/bookkeeping
  • Able to successfully contribute to meetings, achievement of departmental goals and coordinate work with team members
  • Preferable knowledge of Xero accounting system
  • Strong numerical skills and attention to detail
