Bookkeeper
  • Job Type: Part-time (20-25 hours per week, flexible)
  • Location: Harlow
  • Salary: £21,000 to £22000

We are seeking a Part-Time Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be organised, work well in a team, and have experience with Sage Line 50 and invoice financing. This role is perfect for someone who is looking for flexible working hours and has a keen eye for detail.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Complete VAT returns on a monthly basis.
  • Perform data entry tasks including purchase invoices, credit notes, and bank payments.
  • Conduct bank reconciliations and allocate customer payments accurately.
  • Raise customer invoices and keep supplier accounts up to date.
  • Handle general office duties such as answering the telephone, taking messages, and scanning documents.
  • Run monthly management accounts to ensure financial accuracy and control.
  • Engage in credit control activities and conduct supplier analysis to maintain financial health.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • AAT Level 3 Certificate in Bookkeeping.
  • Experienced and proficient with Sage Line 50.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to work well within a team.
  • Proven experience in a similar bookkeeping role.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and work flexibly to meet deadlines.
