Do you have experience as as Accounts Assistant / Bookkeeper at an accountancy firm?

Would you like to join a friendly, supportive accountancy firm which supports small to medium sized businesses with their bookkeeping?

Based in Central London and working with clients across a broad range of sectors, including Media, Property, Entertainment, Luxury Retail and Professional Services; your responsibilities as Bookkeeper will include:

  • Communicating regularly with clients to request their accounting records
  • General bookkeeping, including bank reconciliations, processing expenses
  • Maintaining Sales and Purchase Ledgers
  • Preparing VAT returns
  • Invoicing on behalf of clients
  • Managing client bank accounts and processing payments on their behalf
  • Preparing management accounts

The ideal candidate will have experience of working on both Xero and QuickBooks. Our client is able to offer the successful candidate a competitive salary, a marketing leading benefits package and study support towards the AAT / ACCA qualification. You will also be able to work from home for part of the week.

To be considered for this position, you must have:

  • Experience of working on various software packages (Xero, Quickbooks, Sage)
  • A good academic record, with good attention to detail
  • Started / be will to start an accounting qualification (AAT or ACCA)
  • A minimum of 3 years bookkeeping experience at a UK accountancy firm
