Bookkeeper

An experienced Senior Bookkeeper is required to join a successful and growing firm of Chartered Accountants based in Surrey. You will be rewarded with a competitive salary, car parking, pension and other benefits. Hybrid working available.

The firm has several highly skilled partners who offer audit, accounting, and tax services for corporate and personal clients. They work with service-based, retail, IT, and property companies, as well as several international organisations and high-net-worth individuals.

This is a varied Senior Bookkeeper position and will involve the following duties:

• Preparation of annual statutory accounts
• Preparing monthly management accounts including cash flow forecasts
• Some general bookkeeping where it is required by the client and/or liaison with the firm’s book keepers
• Dealing with ad hoc client queries which can be very interesting due to the diversity of the client base

Applications are welcomed from both qualified candidates and those qualified by experience but to secure this role you must have sound accounts preparation skills including up to date knowledge of UK GAAP, strong Accounting IT skills and previous experience of working within a firm of Accountants. The salary band of £38,000 - £48,000 is a guide set by Fletcher George and salary offered will be based on relevant experience.
