Job Description: As a Bookkeeper you will play a vital role in our financial operations. You'll be responsible for maintaining accurate records of financial transactions, overseeing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, and preparing financial reports. Your attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment will be crucial to our success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting tasks, including accounts payable and receivable
• Reconcile bank statements and maintain accurate financial records
• Prepare and process invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports
• Assist with payroll processing and tax filings
• Generate financial reports for management review
• Monitor cash flow and identify opportunities for cost savings
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
• Proven experience as a bookkeeper or accounting clerk, preferably in the construction industry
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Excel
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
• Understanding of construction accounting principles is a plus
