Biophysical Analyst

Our client provides expert technical and laboratory support for the vast portfolio of clients in the (bio)pharmaceutical development sectors. They provide services that support the development of therapeutics (including: mAbs, bispecific antibodies, peptides, viruses, cell and gene therapies) throughout their lifecycle, spanning all phases within the pre-clinical and clinical development.

They are currently seeking a highly skilled Analyst specialising in Biophysical techniques to join their team. As a key member of the team, you will work independently and collaboratively on a range of diverse client projects.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Applying your expertise and knowledge in all practical aspects of one or more Biophysical techniques (AUC, CD, DSC, FTIR, DLS, UV, Capillary Electrophoresis, SDS-PAGE, Plate Based Assays) to analyse Biopharmaceutical products.
• Providing regulated analytical services for (bio)pharmaceutical development (GLP, GMP, GCP)
• Working independently to interpret data and generate reports.
• Integrating new techniques within the laboratory and supporting method development.
• Interacting with clients, reporting outcomes, and formulating problem-solving strategies.

Requirements:

• BSc/MSc/PhD in Biology/Chemistry or related scientific discipline.
• Experience in one or more of the following techniques for biopharmaceutical analysis: AUC, CD, DSC, FTIR, DLS, UV, Capillary Electrophoresis, SDS-PAGE, Plate Based Assays.
• Strong understanding of GMP principles desired, and/or previous experience working in a regulated laboratory.
• Excellent communication skills
