Location: Hamilton (Scotland) or Birmingham
Salary: £30,000 - £40,000
Working Hours: Mon to Fri 37 hours per week

Overview:

First Military Recruitment is proudly working in partnership with a fantastic International Defence business who are looking to recruit a BIM Microstation Engineer on a permanent basis due to growth.

This position can be based in either Hamilton (Scotland) or Birmingham. The role is also hybrid too.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Day to day, you’ll prepare quality 3D BIM models and engineering drawings on a wide variety of engineering projects.
  • Integrate 2D & 3D models with including typical and bespoke objects
  • Produced detailed and accurate engineering drawings from 3D models
  • Collate all relevant documents including drawings and specifications
  • Assist senior staff in the production of technical reports


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Good amount of practical CAD experience
  • Design experience from within Civil, Structural environments preferred
  • Must have experience of using Bentley MicroStation
  • Experience of AutoCAD
  • HNC / HND level qualification in relevant engineering subject
  • Member of a professional institution desirable
