This fast-paced globally recognised healthcare logistics business is seeking an experienced Billings Supervisor to join its team on a permanent basis. The business offer hybrid working and strong career opportunities. This company is a leader in its field and the team is led by a great Manager. This high-volume role will provide you with variety and a fast-paced exciting environment.

About the role:

The Billings Supervisor has a team of 2 reporting into them, based out of the West End of London, you will report into the Transactional Services Manager.

Duties to include:

  • Take overall responsibility for weekly patient billing, embassy billing and any other ad hoc billing as required by the Head of Customer Billing.
  • Solely responsible for insurance billing, daily health-code billing and resolving rejections from insurance companies. This includes contacting practices and patients for missing billing information etc.
  • Assist the Head of Customer Billing with managing the billing assistants and cashier.
  • Assist the billing team with raising invoices and credit notes as required by the Sales and Marketing Team or Head of Customer Billing.
  • Assist in allocation of payments and the reconciliation of customer accounts.
  • Assist the wider credit control team when necessary
  • Escalation of any issues on a timely basis to management.
  • Establish a professional working relationship with the Credit Control Supervisors to identify where existing processes can be improved

Your qualifications and experience:

  • Minimum 3 years experience in a Billing environment
  • Supervisory experience
