Our prestigious US Law Firm Client are seeking to hire a Legal Billing Coordinator to join their London team.

The Billing Coordinator role will report into the Revenue Manager and will directly support lawyers, PAs, and wider billing and finance team members to provide support in all aspects of the production and finalisation of invoices for the London and international offices.

Reporting into the Head of Department, the duties for Billing Coordinator include;

  • Attending regular billing and WIP meetings with the partners and the finance team
  • Preparing prebill packs for partners for their monthly/quarterly billing process
  • Compiling and coordinating monthly/quarterly billing updates to clients
  • Reviewing prebill narratives and amending where necessary
  • Liaising with the finance team on the preparation of draft and final form invoices
  • Reviewing draft bills to identify errors and omissions and to ensure that bills are compliant with client requirements
  • Liaising with partners and associates on billing matters and maintaining up to date billing trackers for each partner
  • Building relationships with the team’s clients and acting as first point of call when dealing with client queries and requests for information relating to billing matters
  • Ensuring that all relevant information relating to matters and clients is obtained promptly and is communicated to the appropriate teams.

Billing Coordinator Requirements;

Suitable candidates will need to have minimum 3 years experience of working in high volume billing position in a law firm, preferably using 3E. Strong Excel knowledge is also essential.
