Ambition are working with a global law firm with their recruitment for an experienced Billing Assistant. This is great opportunity to join an established billing team within their London office, offering hybrid working and a competitive salary.

Reporting to the Billing Supervisor, the key duties will include;

  • Generate monthly prebills, draft and final bills for attorney's review.
  • Generate on-demand transactional and closing prebills, draft and final bills in an expedited manner.
  • Forward invoices for e-billed clients to the Electronic Billing Team. Assist E-Billing with any issues to ensure a successful submission and assist with rejected invoices in a timely manner.
  • Work with Collections Team to ensure proactive follow-up on all aged invoices and resolution of short paid invoices.
  • Review cost entries for compliance with billing guidelines, and recommend corrections and changes to current processes.
  • Act as a resource for other members of the Billing Department, including technical expertise on specialized billing where applicable.

Successful candidates will have previously worked in a similar role ideally within a law firm and have proven billing experience. Previous working knowledge of Aderant system is advantageous.
