Bid Manager - Permanent - Remote

Job Title: Bid Manager
Contract: Permanent
Location: Remote
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 (dependant on experience) plus car / car allowance
Hours: Full Time
Sector: Logistics

Responsibilities of the Bid Manager


* Be responsible for the response to public and private tenders and proposals, in any of our sectors
* Lead the Bid team within the sector comprising: Business Development, Operations, Solution Design, Project Management, Finance, IT, HR and Commercial
* Write and design articulate, concise customer-centric proposals, presentations and other documents as required
* Manage the end-to end production of bid documents and ensure that all proposals are completed on time with full compliance to the requirements of the customer
* Track and manage key outputs, actions and clarifications throughout the bid process
* Lead Tender Reviews Meetings to drive collaborative sessions with the bid team
* Work with the wider Bid Management Team on projects

Skills required for the Bid Manager


* Strong bid management experience in the public and private sector
* Articulate, with strong verbal and presentation skills
* A proficient user of Microsoft Office, in particular PowerPoint and Word
* Experience operating at a senior level and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders
* Strong organisational skills as well as the ability to plan and manage resources
* Comfortable working to challenging deadlines, with the ability to adapt to change
* Experience in the field of supply chain logistics and external bid training
