THE COMPANY

This company is a software vendor supporting utility business in the retail side. They provide various products and data add ons to each system. In addition to this they provide industry and market data for analysis and AI capabilities.

THE ROLE

As a BI Visualisation Team Lead, you will report into the Head of Analytics.

Some of your main responsibilities will be:

  • Lead the BI Team - Manage a team of 3 developers, support them on day to day tasks as well as manage reviews and progression/development.
  • Support many clients on a variety of data visualisation tasks working with Power BI and Tableau to create dashboards and reports.
  • Remain hands-on with the data working with Snowflake, Power BI and Tableau alongside the management side.
  • Work closely with the data engineering team and the wider analytics function.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

A successful BI Visualisation Team Lead will have:

  • Good cloud experience, Snowflake is ideal - with proven commercial experience.
  • Experience using Power BI or Tableau to create dashboards and reports. Tableau is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, with a strong personality and ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders - this is a must.
  • Experience in the utilities, energy or telecoms would be ideal.
  • Management experience is ideal but not required.
