Job Title: BI Systems Analyst

Location: Swindon

Salary: Up to £47k per annum

Hybrid working from our clients HQ in Swindon

As a member of the Architecture and Development team you will participate in the design of new BI solutions, modification, enhancement, and supporting the delivery of the business change transformation agenda for both our client and our customer solutions.

About the Role

• Work with stakeholders and the BI architect to capture, define business requirements.
• Participate in the design of the overall solution and assist in the production of associated documentation (High level technical spec and tests scenarios).
• Communicate with IT technical teams and Stakeholders, bridging the gap to ensure successful solution delivery.
• Work alongside developers during build being sure to represent the interest of the business users at all times.
• Work on multiple and concurrent projects without compromising quality or deadline commitments.
• When necessary, participate and assist with system testing.
• Support Acceptance Testing of end-to-end solutions by the business.

About you

• Knowledge and understanding of business analysis and requirements gathering techniques, such as business process modelling, gap analysis and user stories.
• Deep understanding of Kimball methodology
• Solid experience of SQL (preferably including Oracle 12c).
• Logical and Physical database modelling
• Understanding use of ETL tools to gather and load facts and dimensions (preferably SAP Data Services or ODI).
• Understanding of a BI reporting suit (preferably Business Objects).
• Good communication and presentation skills – both written and oral.
