BI Developer | Lloyds Insurer

£70,000 - £80,000 per annum


My client is a Lloyds Market Insurance Firm based in London and they are looking to appoint a BI Developer to join their Data and Systems team in developing new BI solutions and applications on the Cloud.

Role:

* Actively participate in ETL development and sprint cycles.
* Assist in requirement gathering for both business and technical aspects.
* Gather, assess, and process data from diverse sources.
* Deploy and maintain databases, data warehouses, and data architecture.
* Execute SQL queries and conduct data analysis.
* Design and maintain reports, dashboards, and master data.
* Enhance system analytical tools and methodologies.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure solutions align with their needs and broader business requirements.
* Provide support for ETL tasks, including incorporating additional data points and information as needed.
* Establish robust lifecycle management processes to ensure a fully auditable change control environment.
* Conduct key reconciliations of data from source to target.
* Serve as a liaison between systems and business stakeholders, ensuring comprehensive understanding of technical operations.

Skills Needed:

* Proficient in SQL coding.
* Familiarity with the Lloyd's market.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office products and other IT skills.
* Capable of taking proactive roles in projects and implementations.
* Demonstrated success in delivering Business Intelligence (BI) solutions.
* Effective communication skills and adept at managing relationships with key stakeholders.
