We are delighted to present an exciting opportunity for a Senior MI / BI Analyst. Our client, a leading organisation, is looking for a dynamic individual to join their team and provide insightful data analysis to drive business performance and growth.

The Role:

As a Senior MI / BI Analyst, you will:

• Manage the design, development, and maintenance of a suite of reporting tools to provide accurate sales performance and operational information.
• Take ownership of the review, analysis, and interpretation of data from Oracle NetSuite to track performance against strategy, initiatives, and projects.
• Create and maintain reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs), identify trends, and deliver regular reports with commentary.
• Liaise closely with finance and supply chain teams to provide scheduled and ad-hoc information.
• Review customer behaviour insights to inform strategies for commercial growth.
• Act as a point of contact for MI/data related requests from senior management.
• Recommend solutions to stakeholders and seek opportunities to increase efficiency, productivity, and performance levels within the business.

The Candidate:

The ideal Senior MI / BI Analyst candidate will have:

• Strong MI / BI / Data Analysis experience within a large organisation.
• Demonstrated leadership skills or experience in leading projects or teams, including mentoring junior analysts and managing stakeholder relationships.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex analytical concepts to a non-technical audience effectively.
• First-rate numerical and analytical skills with the capability to interpret, analyse and report on complex data with clarity to non-technical / business stakeholders.
• Extensive experience in developing, extracting, and scheduling reports from Oracle NetSuite.
• Proficiency in using data visualisation tools to build effective dashboards.
• Ability to perform data analysis to extract meaningful insights, identify trends, and support data-driven decision-making processes.
• Understanding of the business processes of trade, logistics, supply chain, E-commerce, and financial payments will be an added advantage.
