Behaviour Teaching Assistant

Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting for a school in the local area seeking an SEND Teaching Assistant with a specialism in Behaviour! An OFSTED 'good' primary school is currently seeking an experienced and passionate SEND Teaching Assistant. This is a full time, long-term role with a daily rate of £85-£95 per day. The role is a temporary post and has the opportunity to get perm with the school for the right candidate.

As part of this role, you will be responsible for supporting a child with challenging behaviour. A background in a similar role would be ideal due to the nature of the role. A knowledge of de-escalation and behaviour is essential. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of a Primary Curriculum and will be able to use a range of strategies to children with diverse learning needs.

  • Hold a Levelled teaching assistant or similar qualification
  • Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
  • CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
  • Legal right to work in the UK
