Randstad are looking looking to appoint an enthusiastic Behaviour Support Worker for Leeds based schools to make a difference to pupils lives and transform their experience of education. You will be working 1:1 and in small groups with those who have become disengaged from education. You will also need to support students with a range of learning difficulties and SEMH requirements including Autism, Asperger's syndrome and behavioural issues, your role is to help students to overcome many barriers to learning!

The schools we work with require qualified Behaviour Support Workers to support pupils in small groups and on a 1:1 basis this term. This role will require your support Monday - Friday 8:30-3:30 (hours can vary slightly), term time only.

Applicants for this role need to be nurturing, patient and committed to making learning accessible to children with SEN requirements.

Requirements

• Can relate well to children and adults and communicate at all levels·
• Experience supporting students with Special Educational requirements
• Ability to work independently and as a successful team
• Excellent communication and behaviour management skills
• Strong work ethic and a positive attitude
