Reed Education are supporting a large school in Scunthorpe with recruiting for a behaviour support worker or 1:1 TA to work with a child in year six who is low attaining and can display challenging, disruptive behaviour. 

The role is to begin as soon as possible and will continue until July to support the child through their last year at school. You will work 5 days per week and hours will be 08:30 - 15:30. 

Responsibilities:

  • To work alongside the child to control disruptive behaviour
  • To support the child with reading
  • To closely support the teacher with assessment
  • Follow all policies correctly

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children/additional needs/behaviour needs
  • A DBS on the update service
