Do you have the skills and dedication to support students with challenging behaviour? We're looking for a compassionate and dedicated full-time 1:1 Support Assistant to join us and work with a team at a primary school in Bradford.

Your Role: As a Full-Time 1:1 Support Assistant, your primary mission will be to work closely with students who may face challenges in managing their behaviour. You will play a pivotal role in helping them overcome barriers to learning and promoting their active participation in daily school life. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing one-on-one support to students with challenging behaviour.
  • Building positive relationships with students, fostering trust and confidence.
  • Implementing individualised strategies and interventions to address specific needs.
  • Assisting with classroom activities and helping students stay engaged in their learning.
  • Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create a supportive network for students.

What We're Looking For, to excel in this role, you should possess:

  • A passion for working with children and a genuine desire to help them succeed.
  • Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills.
  • The ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations.
  • An understanding of behaviour management techniques and strategies.
  • The willingness to learn and adapt to the unique needs of each student.
  • Previous experience of working in a school or education-based environment with children.
