Prospero Teaching, a leading teaching recruitment agency, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Behaviour Mentor to join a dynamic team in Crewe.

About the Role:

  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other staff to identify and address challenging behaviour in students.
  • Develop and implement individualised behaviour plans to support students in making positive choices.
  • Foster positive relationships with students, building trust and encouraging open communication.
  • Advocate for students emotional well-being and mental health.
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive school environment.

What we are looking for:

  • A minimum of 2 years experience working with children and young people in an educational setting.
  • A proven track record of successfully supporting students with behavioural challenges.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping students succeed.
  • The ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and staff.
  • Strong understanding of child development and behaviour management strategies.

What we offer:

  • Location - Crewe
  • Position - Behaviour Mentor
  • Contract or position start date - ASAP
  • Contract or position end date (if applicable) - July 2024
  • Contract type (temp/perm/temp to perm) - Temporary - Permanent
  • Full time/part time - Full time
  • Minimum rate of pay - £90 - £100 per day (depending on experience)
  • Hours - Mon - Fri (term time only)

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child related references that cover at least the last two years
