Calling all behaviour specialists or education professionals with a flare for behaviour management! A well run Secondary Academy in Hemel Hempstead are looking to appoint a Behaviour Mentor to join their inclusion team. Working alongside students who need additional support and display challenging behaviour you will be a key mentor in helping them develop and strengthen the skills and strategies needed to succeed in school and beyond.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualised behaviour plans for students
  • Deliver instruction and coaching to students in social skills, self-regulation, and problem-solving
  • Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to support students' academic and social-emotional needs
  • Monitor student progress and adjust intervention plans accordingly

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A degree in a related field, such as education, psychology, or social work
  • Experience working with students who display challenging behaviours in a school setting
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • A positive and proactive approach to behaviour management
