About the role

As a Behaviour Mentor, you will be required to provide specialist support in a classroom setting for children with learning disabilities and difficulties. We are seeking applicants who are positive, enthusiastic, and eager to develop their skills. You will support teaching and learning across the school, providing general support to pupils and management of resources and behaviours.

The School have a caring and inclusive ethos with high expectations. There are specialising in supporting pupils with social, emotional and mental health difficulties, complex needs and Autistic Spectrum Disorder. The team are solution-focused and dedicated to help improve outcomes for vulnerable pupils and offer outstanding education they deserve.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Behaviour Mentor you will:

  • At least one years’ experience of working in a learning/childcare setting.
  • Skills of empathy, listening and communication.
  • A flexible, adaptable and positive attitude.
  • Have a DBS on the update service or willing to start a new application.
  • Competent behaviour management skills.
