  • Position Available: SEN Teaching Assistant/Behaviour Mentor We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a SEN Teaching Assistant/Behaviour Mentor. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting students with SEN and challenging behaviors, fostering their academic and personal development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with SEN
  • Assist in the implementation of individualized education plans
  • Support classroom activities, ensuring an inclusive and positive learning environment
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and other support staff
  • Utilise effective behavior management strategies to promote a positive and respectful atmosphere

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Relevant experience in working with children with SEN or challenging behaviours
  • Understanding of various SEN conditions and their impact on learning
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Patience, resilience, and a genuine passion for supporting children's development
  • Relevant qualifications or willingness to undertake training
