Location: Barnet, London

Hourly Rate: £13.50 to £16.50 (dependent on experience)

Position Type: Full-Time, Long-Term

About Us: We are a dedicated education agency committed to connecting talented individuals with rewarding opportunities in schools. Currently, we are representing a thriving Secondary School in Barnet, and we are seeking a proactive and experienced Behaviour Mentor to join their dynamic team.

Responsibilities: As a Behaviour Mentor, your role will be instrumental in fostering a positive and supportive school environment. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Working closely with students to address and manage challenging behavior.
  • Providing individualised support to promote positive engagement and personal development.
  • Collaborating with teaching staff and other support professionals to implement effective strategies.
  • Conducting regular assessments to track progress and adjust interventions as needed.
  • Building positive relationships with students, families, and staff to create a cohesive support system.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Behaviour Mentor or in a similar role.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A genuine passion for supporting students' emotional and behavioral well-being.
  • Ability to implement effective behavior management strategies.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the varying needs of students.
