Do you have experience in supporting students with Social, Emotional, Mental Health (SEMH) and Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD)? If so, this Croydon based school is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Behaviour Mentor to join their team!

The Role:

As a Behaviour Mentor you will play a vital role in supporting students with SEMH and EBD needs.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing one-on-one and group support to students, helping them manage their behaviour and emotions.
  • Implementing behaviour management strategies and interventions.
  • Building positive relationships with students, creating a safe and supportive environment.
  • Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualised support plans.
  • Monitoring and tracking student progress and providing regular feedback to the school's leadership team.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Experience working with students with SEMH and EBD needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help students overcome challenges.
  • The ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external agencies.
