Behaviour Mentor - North West London - PRU setting

Setting: Alternative Provision
Start date: April 2024
Pay rate: £90 - £120 per day (Depending on experience)
Working hours: 8:30am - 4:00pm (Term time only) with early finishes on Fridays
Do you have a passion and talent for supporting children and young people who cannot access mainstream education and mental health disorders?
I am actively seeking an engaging and passionate Behaviour Mentor to work in a PRU setting that provides education to children who are unable to be educated in a mainstream school due to behaviour difficulties. I am looking to speak to professional and committed Behaviour Mentors to work in a PRU setting in North West London. The role is class based and is working across the school with individual students requiring additional mentoring.
Even if your experience is informal/voluntary, I want to hear from you! The children you will support will have a variety of needs which can include significant complex behaviour challenges.
Behaviour Mentor requirements:
? Experience of working with young people with SEMH, behavioural issues, Trauma, Sensory processing, social communication
? Learning Mentor Youth Worker experience
? Ability to build strong and meaningful relationships
? A passion for working with SEND is essential
What you can expect as a Behaviour Mentor:
? Excellent experience and training for aspiring Teachers, Pastoral workers, Child Psychologists, Educational Psychologists, Clinical Psychologists, Occupational Therapists, Counsellors, and Social Workers

The successful candidate must have an EnhancedDBS on the Update Service before starting this role.
