Role: Behaviour Mentor

Start date: May or September 24

Location: Medway

Contract: Temp to Perm

Hours: 08:30-15:15

Day rate: £100 per day (Salary will be discussed after 12 working weeks)

Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Primary School Behaviour Mentor to join one of our fantastic schools in Medway. As a Behaviour Mentor, you will play a crucial role in promoting positive behaviour and supporting the emotional well-being of our primary school students. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Mentoring Students: Providing guidance and support to students who may be experiencing behavioural challenges.
  • Behaviour Intervention: Developing and implementing behaviour intervention plans in collaboration with school staff.
  • Emotional Support: Assisting students in managing their emotions and promoting a positive school environment.
  • Collaboration: Working closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create a supportive network for students.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Strong experience working with primary school-aged children in a behavioural support role.
  • Training: Relevant behaviour support training.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and parents.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to work with diverse student needs.
