Position: Bar Manager
Location: Newport
Salary: £31750 plus Service Charge

  • Possess comprehensive product knowledge of all beverages served at the bar.
  • Exercise excellent stock control skills to manage inventory effectively.
  • Manage, motivate, and ensure team members are compliant with current licensing laws.
  • Provide leadership in maintaining a friendly and professional service environment for guests.
  • Ensure beverages are prepared and presented in accordance with the Resort's specifications.
  • Ensure prompt serving of food and beverages, prioritizing guest satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in bar management or relevant hospitality roles.
  • Extensive knowledge of various beverages and cocktails.
  • Proficient in stock control and inventory management.
  • Excellent understanding of current licensing laws and regulations.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certification in responsible alcohol service (e.g., TIPS, ServeSafe).
  • Previous experience working in a resort or upscale hospitality environment.
