Marks Sattin are currently recruiting a Banking Specialist on a 12 month FTC on behalf of a very well established Financial Services business, based in Skipton. Joining the Banking and Payment Operations team, this is a Senior role, working closely with the Banking and Payments Manager.

As a Banking Specialist you will be responsible, however not limited to;

  • In depth reviews of the reconciliation of bank accounts, unmatched transactions and end of day balancing, ensuring all differences are fully understood, documented and appropriate corrective action being taken.
  • Reviewing of unreconciled items
  • In depth reviews of the balance sheet control accounts
  • Lead on ensuring items are investigated and corrected in a timely manner
  • Supporting the Banking & Payments Manager in any adhoc senior tasks.
  • Supporting the Banking Team in all day-to-day activities.
  • Supporting Audit reviews

The successful candidate must have;

  • A full, in depth understanding of banking reconciliation.
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships both within the team and the wider business in order to achieve objectives.
  • High level of attention to detail and delivery of effective Business Requirements.
  • Ability and confidence to make own decisions using initiative.

Salary is £32,000 plus a great benefits package!
