We have a fantastic opportunity for a locum Speech & Language Therapist to join a leading teaching hospital, based in Lancashire. They are seeking a qualified SALT with previous Community experience, so a car driver is essential for this role.

Job Description

Start date: asap
Working pattern: Mon-Fri 8:30 am- 4:30pm
System Knowledge: SystemOne

Skills: To deliver specialist clinical work for patients with varying needs in a variety of settings.
To act as a member of the multi-disciplinary team with support from senior colleagues and to contribute to the coordination of Speech & Language Therapy input in this area
To assess and treat own caseload of patients maintaining own records as an autonomous practitioner
MDT meetings. Leading breakfast club. Setting up new group activities with a therapy focus. Functional assessments.

Position Requirements

• HCPC Registered
• Minimum of two years postgraduate experience
• Previous clinical experience performing a similar role within a Speech The rapy setting
