Our client, a consultancy business working with multiple clients throughout the UK are looking to add an Azure Architect to their growing team of technical specialists. The purpose of this role is to build, design, implement and manage Azure systems whilst assuring security, scalability and dependability.
Azure Architect - day to day responsibilities:
- Design and implement Office 365 and Azure AD Premium's advanced features, such as security, governance, and compliance.
- Providing second-level support for AWS and Azure issues with computing, network, and storage.
- Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Cloud Platform's features and functionalities is required. These include security, firewalls, Redis cache, key vault, etc.
- Designing and implementing ADFS identity solutions for applications other than Microsoft Office 365
- Creating Microsoft Azure solutions and predefined criteria following project requirements.
- Driving cloud security, privacy, and compliance decisions through design and technical discussion concerns for size, performance, agility, and HA/DR.
- Configure and manage customer AWS/Azure cloud environment.
- Ability to analyse systems and identify problems migrating to Azure cloud.
- Implement CI/CD-based application development methodologies using tools like Jenkins, TFS, and PowerShell.
- Work with clients to ensure smooth and successful implementation, delivery, and deployment of complex solutions.
Azure Architect background:
- Previous experience of working within a consultancy or MSP environment is desirable.
- A willingness to travel to UK client sites if needed.
- Good communication style
- Commercially focused
