Aviation Placing Broker

Join a recognised leader in the global Aviation insurance arena and one of the largest brokers in this class within the Lloyd's market. The Aviation Placing Broker / Account Executive will be client & market facing role. Assisting in devising and placing innovative solutions for complex international aviation risks for all areas of the sector - such as, regional airlines, operators, FBO's, maintenance, manufacturers and miscellaneous niche risks.

Overview;

Working closely with team members to ensure the effective placement of risks and management of the aviation portfolio, maintain and develop client relationships, nurture market contacts and contribute to the overall growth of the account

Role summary;

• Understanding risk and the client requirements
• Designing appropriate cover structure
• Providing guidance and support to clients
• Identify suitable markets and insurers with appropriate appetite
• Devise the most effective placement strategy
• Negotiate coverage and pricing with key markets
• Provide input into preparing market presentations
• Coordinate the placement process
• Ensure adherence to internal processes, file management and compliance.
• Produce, analyse and report on premium, brokerage, claims, renewal data

Essential skills;

• Technical experience within international aviation insurance risks
• Exposure to the Lloyd's market and relevant insurers
• Client servicing and relationship management skills
