Aviation Insurance Broking - Divisional Director

Join a recognised leader in the global Aviation insurance arena and one of the largest brokers in this class within the Lloyd's market. The Divisional Director of the Aviation Department will be client & market facing. You will devise innovative solutions for complex aviation risks for all areas of the sector - such as, regional airlines, operators, FBO's, maintenance, manufacturers and complex, niche solutions. As well as identifying and winning new business.

Senior Broker / Client Executive - Divisional Director

Overview;

Working closely with the Head of Division to spearhead the effective placement of risks and management of the aviation portfolio, maintain and develop client relationships, nurture market contacts and contribute to the overall growth of the account and achieve the performance targets of the departmental business plan.

Role summary;

• Identify new revenue streams and win new business
• Understanding risk and the client's requirements
• Designing appropriate cover structure
• Providing guidance and support to clients
• Identify suitable markets and insurers with appropriate appetite
• Devise the most effective placement strategy
• Provide input into preparing market presentations
• Negotiate with clients and insurers
• Coordinate the placement process
• Ensure adherence to internal processes, file management and compliance.
• Produce, analyse and report on premium, brokerage, claims, renewal data
• Lead and manage 4/5 staff

Essential skills;

• A successful track record of identifying and winning new business
• Technical experience within international aviation insurance risks
• Exposure to the Lloyd's market and relevant insurers
• Client servicing and development skills
• Team leadership experience is desirable

What's on offer;

Salary range to £120,000 to £165,000 + excellent benefits package

City of London & Home hybrid working
