AV VC & Desktop Engineers:

Central London: 5 days on site.

Day Rate £300, Inside IR35

Start April 2024

6 months initial contract, but likely togo longer.

Day to day duties:

Hands on implementation and support of Microsoft Teams integrated rooms with Qsys, Poly, Crestron, and other VC products.

Provide ad hoc desktop and peripheral

support to executive level user groups, troubleshooting Microsoft Windows,

Office 365, Outlook, printers, laptops, mobile devices, PCs and connectivity

issues etc.

Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to procure and integrate AV equipment as needed.

Configure and deploy video conferencing endpoints, codecs, and audiovisual peripherals.

Conduct testing and quality assurance to ensure proper functionality and performance.

Implement best practices for system setup, including network configuration, audio tuning, and video optimization.

Provide ongoing maintenance and support

for video conferencing systems, including troubleshooting technical issues and resolving performance issues.

Perform regular system upgrades, patches, and firmware updates to ensure security and reliability.

Create documentation, user guides, and troubleshooting manuals for video conferencing systems and AV equipment.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, AV, facilities, and external vendors to coordinate projects and resolve issues.

Communicate effectively with stakeholders

to provide updates, gather requirements, and address concerns related to video conferencing infrastructure.
