AV Installation Engineer

Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and calibrate audio-visual (AV) systems in residential smart homes.
  • Collaborate with clients, designers, and project managers to understand specific requirements and preferences.
  • Conduct on-site surveys to assess space and technical requirements for AV installations.
  • Install and integrate smart home devices, including audio systems, video displays, lighting controls, security cameras, etc.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to AV systems and smart home devices.
  • Provide client training on the operation and maintenance of installed systems.
  • Collaborate with the sales and design teams to ensure seamless project execution.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in AV installation, particularly in the residential smart home sector.
  • Familiarity with a variety of AV equipment, control systems, and smart home technologies.
  • Strong understanding of audio-visual signal flow, cabling, and integration.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality installations.
  • Effective communication and customer service skills.
