Are you a CAD Engineer with experience designing automotive / mechanical components or similar, looking to step into a unique role, for a globally leading organization which operates at the forefront of it's industry, supplying to major players globally such as General Motors, BMW and Jaguar, where you will add direct value to a growing R&D team, working on leading edge projects, whilst benefitting from ongoing training and development, with a company culture which encourages progression?

As a go-to CAD Engineer, you will work within a specialist team on a variety of innovative projects within the EV space.

Off the back of recent success, they now require a CAD Engineer to join the team in a long-term role with a clear scope for progression.

If you are a CAD Design Engineer with experience on CATIA and an interest in Automotive and the EV market, this would be a great fit for you.

The role:

• Create detailed 3D models and 2D drawings (including GD&T) of automotive components and systems
• Provide CAD-design (CATIA) support during the design and development phases of automotive structural components, including EV battery enclosures, integrating advanced design features to provide light weight, cost efficient solutions
• Coordinate the manufacturing assessments (feasibility, machining, joining, material utilization, tolerances, etc.) together with the preparation of technical presentations, engineering reports & change documents

The person:

• CAD Engineer, with experience designing automotive components / systems or similar
• CATIA is an essential requirement - Please do not apply if you don't have proficiency in this package
