Our Client in Stanton is looking for an AutoCAD Technician to join their team. This is a full time position Monday to Friday 0800 - 1700hrs with an early finish on a Friday.

The role of AutoCAD Technician is to prepare accurate CAD drawings for our manufacturing processes. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for growth and development into design and sales for the right candidate.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Create detailed CAD drawings for manufacturing purposes.
  • Collaborate with the design team to understand and meet project requirements.
  • Revise drawings and layouts to accommodate changes and enhancements.
  • Ensure all CAD drawings are compliant with industry and health and safety standards.
  • Maintain and organize the CAD database and drawing files for easy access and retrieval.
  • Communicate with the manufacturing team to ensure accurate implementation of designs.
  • Attend team meetings to provide input on drawings and designs.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD software.
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes and construction methods.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • A proactive approach to learning and professional development.
