AutoCAD Space Planner / Interior Designer

Our client is a global leader of manufacturing excellence and has an in-depth knowledge of how to make modern interiors work within a commercial setting.
They have delivered some highly complex projects which have involved bespoke designs, layouts, fixtures, fittings and furniture including multiple phases of installation and their track record of project delivery is exceptional.
The company is continuously busy which has highlighted the need for an additional Interior Space Planner /Designer to join their team. The main emphasis is on producing space plans and layouts, the detailing up of the room, fittings and accessories. Producing 3D visuals for presentation purposes and visiting clients alongside the sales representatives would also be required.
Person / Experience Required:
- AutoCAD is a necessity, with the ability to learn new packages such as Modo, Vectorworks or Sketch Up (Previous experience of these software packages is an advantage)
- Developing product knowledge, product developments and market trends
- An understanding of space planning with relevant experience
- Interior Design degree or experience
- Experience of commercial or domestic interiors
- Practical and technically minded
- Mathematical and analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills
The role will be both office and client based, therefore fantastic presentation, communication and customer facing skills are required.
We are looking for someone who is highly motivated, shows initiative to carry out tasks well, with strong attention to detail.
