Hours: 39 hours/week - Monday to Thursday 7:30am - 4pm & Friday 7:30am - 3pm

Salary: Up to £28,000 per annum depending on experience.

Our client is looking for an experienced Auto Electrician with a mechanical interest. This is great opportunity to receive on the job training with excellent long term career opportunities.

As a successful Auto Electrician, your duties will include but not be limited to:

• Touseelectronic diagnostic equipment todiagnose electrical issues within avehicle andmake /modify electrical harnesses.
• Theabilitytoconductautoelectricaltasksonmodernspecialistvehicles
• Wiringupofelectricalcomponentsandinstallationsofwiringlooms
• Toexaminevehiclesanddiagnosenon-routinedefects,oradditionalfaultseither inthe workshop or during road tests
• Abilitytouserelatedtoolstoagood standard
• Conductingfaultfindinganddiagnosticwork,whennecessary,onallvehicles.
• InstallnewinteriorelectricsthisincludesGPS,Camerasystemsetc
• InstallhighvoltagebatteriesintoourElectricSweepers
• Ensureallworkiscompletedsafelyandcomplieswithretailer,manufacturer,and industry guidelines
• ToutilizetheCompany'sfacilitiesandprocessestomaximizeyourproductivity on vehicles
• Ensureallcorrectpaperworkiscompletedandaccuraterecordsmaintained
• Ensurethatalltheequipment provided bytheCompany iskeptingoodcondition andin full working order.
• Workonflowlinewhen required.
• Contribute to maintaining a high level of housekeeping and attention to health and safetyissuestocreateahealthyandsafeworkingenvironment.Thisincludesensuring that personal belongings and work-related tools and materials are kept in the designated areas.

Person Specification

Essential

• Effective Communication
• Able to read and understand electrical circuit drawings
• Previous auto electrical experience on HGV
• Motivated/Driven
• Able to effectively absorb knowledge
• Able to work with minimal supervision
• Can-Do attitude

Desirable

• Understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics & electrical circuits
• Apprenticeship in mechanical engineering or similar
• Clean driving licence/LGV
• Professional appearance and presentation
