Embark on a rewarding career as an Autism Support Worker and be the beacon of support in the lives of extraordinary children. If you're someone with a caring and compassionate nature, coupled with a kind and encouraging outlook, we want to hear from you!

Picture yourself playing a crucial role in providing support to students with Autism. These incredible young minds may also have additional needs, including speech and language difficulties, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, and various learning requirements. Some may also face challenges with social, emotional, and mental health needs.

Your role will be to support these students throughout the school day, adapting your approach to cater to their individual educational health care plans. Collaborate with the class teacher, employing specialized techniques to de-escalate behaviours and create a positive learning environment. But that's not all! You'll also be lending a hand to the class teacher-helping with lesson planning, maintaining a tidy classroom, overseeing general behaviour, and monitoring student progress.

The ideal candidate will exude calmness, someone who thrives under pressure, and radiates positivity and encouragement. To be considered for the role you'll be required to hold a clean DBS (we can support you with applying for one) and prior experience working with SEN children. This relevant previous experience could include childcare, tutoring, assisting in a nursery, working in a sports setting, or in a similar classroom environment.
