Are you the kind of person that would like to make a meaningful difference to the lives of children with Autism? If so, Milk Education are recruiting for a full-time Autism Support Worker to work with children aged between 3-19 year old on a full-time term time only basis. Your role would be based in a Special School in BD9 that caters specifically for children with Autism and Communication issues. This is a Monday - Friday role and would require you to work 08.20 - 15.20. We are not currently accepting applications for part time.

Your role & responsibilities:

· Supporting the class teacher to deliver lessons

· Helping the pupils regulate

· Creating a fun and safe environment for the children to thrive

· Assist with personal care

Non-negotiables:

· Must have recent and relevant experience working with children or adults with learning disabilities and/or Autism.

· Be available Monday to Friday 08:20 - 15:20

· Comfortable providing personal care

· Must have the ability to work under the guidance of the classroom teacher
