Our highly prestigious client in Leatherhead is on the lookout for a passionate and driven individual to step into the role of Audit Team Leader. You'll be at the forefront, guiding and inspiring our junior staff, all while maintaining unparalleled standards of precision and excellence.   • Based in Leatherhead
  • £45,000 - £50,000
  • Monday - Friday, 9am - 5:30pm
  • Hybrid (3 days office, 2 days remote)

Job specification:

  • Collaborating closely with Managers and Directors to conduct audit risk assessments, plan audits, and address audit and accounting challenges.
  • As Audit Team Leader, you will guarantee the timely and cost-effective completion of audit assignments.
  • Evaluate audit progress and offer guidance and support to junior team members.
  • Extensively communicate with clients during all stages of the audit process, including planning, fieldwork, and completion.
  • Engagement in the training and development of ACA students, as well as the staff review process.
  • Drafting statutory financial statements for audit clients of a Big 4 firm.
  • Acquisition and divestiture due diligence procedures.
  • Evaluation and documentation of internal control processes and systems.

Person specification:

  • Outstanding technical expertise and client interaction abilities.
  • Newly qualified or experienced ACAs or ACCAs.
  • Capability to independently research and apply technical knowledge.
  • Diverse experience in statutory audit and accounts preparation.
  • Robust and current understanding of FRS 102 & ISAs.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • A successful Audit Team Leader will be able to assign tasks and oversee junior staff.
  • Strong IT proficiency and adaptable to technological advancement.
