This is an excellent opportunity to join an impressive top 50 accountancy U.K. practice.
The ideal candidate must have a positive, confident, self-motivated attitude with experience from UK accountancy practice.
This is a permanent, full-time role offering hybrid and flexible working, in addition to excellent future career prospects.
Key responsibilities:
- Leading a variety of interesting and complex audit assignments across multiple sectors
- Preparing audit files, undertake audit planning and lead/assist with fieldwork
- Assisting in work allocation, supervise and review audits, supporting more junior team members
- Ensuring all assignments are completed to a high standard, on time and within budget
- Preparing statutory accounts and finalising accounts
- Preparing corporation tax computations
- Using accountancy software to provide accurate reporting
Requirements:
- ACCA/ACA Qualified or almost qualified.
- UK accountancy practice experience in audit, some accounts experience is also a must.
- University degree 2:1 or higher or 3 high A-Level results (or equivalent).
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Strong IT skills, specifically Excel. Xero, Sage, Caseware or CCH would be an advantage.
