A well established 14 Partner firm, who have been around for over 70 years, are looking for an Audit Senior. This is a brand-new role and has come about due to the growth of the firm's already considerable client base. Amongst other sectors, this firm specialise in working with clients in the entertainment industry including, musicians, actors, authors as well as companies in this sector.

They are a firm that can offer fantastic progression, as highlighted by their Partnership group, the vast majority of whom trained with the firm. They have a low staff turnover, a great work-life balance, a fine social culture and are one of the best firms to work for of their size in London.

You will be a qualified Audit Senior (ACA or ACCA) with a minimum of three years' experience in a medium sized firm. You will have had experience of leading audits under UK GAAP as well as supervising the work of more junior staff.

Audit Senior responsibilities

  • Planning, execution and completion of audits, reporting directly to the Managers and Partners
  • Co-ordinate planning at clients, including liaising with other relevant departments within the firm
  • Leading on-site audit teams and completing jobs with minimal supervision, to deadlines and within budget
  • Communicating and building client relationships
  • Business development including promoting the firm and its services to the existing client base and prospects
  • Preparation of accounts, reports and other assignments as required
  • Development and supervision of junior team members
