Audit Senior

Our client, one of the North East’s leading firms of accountancy and business advisors, is looking to appoint an experienced Audit Senior to take responsibility for audit and accounts staff during the completion of audit and accounts assignments.

Your key responsibilities as Audit Senior will include:

-Producing a detailed planning audit memorandum
-Monitoring the progress of jobs, ensuring budgets are met
-Signing off audit sections and completing files for review
-Preparing accounts for larger clients

As Audit Senior you will need:

  • Strong experience as Audit Senior or Assurance Executive or similar, gained practice
  • A full ACA or ACCA qualification advantageous
  • Experience leading on-site audits
  • Excellent accounts preparation skills
  • Proven leadership experience
  • Ideally experience of CaseWare
  • Good technical knowledge (FRS102)

  • Salary £35,000 - £45,000 + bonus + benefits
